Sheet Music Sales Manager | Part-Time - Posted 11/2/2018
The Flute Center of New York is seeking an energetic, highly-organized, charismatic, and self-motivated professional flutist, with at least a Bachelor's Degree in Flute Performance, for a full-time “Sales Manager” position specializing in FCNY’s new Sheet Music department. Must live in New York City or be willing to commute. Some travel required for regional conventions, including NFA.
Primary responsibilities will include assisting in and managing all aspects of flute sheet music sales - in person, over the phone, via email, and off-premises (including traveling to Flute Festivals for sales opportunities) - maintaining an organized inventory, ordering and receiving inventory, and working with our Director of Marketing on original content and social media promotions. The Sheet Music Sales Manager will also be responsible for managing a dedicated e-commerce website for sheet music.
Compensation to include Salary & Commission. Part-time hours may become full-time hours depending on the candidate’s success. The Flute Center of New York is seeking a detail-oriented flute repair technician whose main responsibilities will include managing our extensive inventory of new and used flutes, as well as fixing any recently sold flutes still under warranty.
